Cellar Not Found

How came ye here, we know not. But remember: We did warn you about the floors, and as the Arabic proverb has it, “He who warns cannot be blamed.”

Cellar not found

Unfortunately, you're not in the cellar, either.

Okay, so you fell through one of the holes in the floor. But contrary to our expectations, you’re not in the cellar.

Where are you, then?

We’re not entirely sure how to describe this place, although some call it Four Oh Four No-Man’s Land. It’s a magic place in its way — the romantic optimist might even find it reminiscent of Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere. Only the magic is beyond black, and Croup and Vandemar would hesitate to venture here.

But ultimately where you are, or how you came to be here, are matters of little moment. What counts now is getting out of this place, and back into the charted realms of Moralintelligence.net, before that pair of eyes under the top step starts to move. Because then it’ll be too late, and Night will claim you for its own in ways that we can’t describe here on this family site.

Our recommendation: Go to our main site map, from which (when it is complete), you will be able to reach any page on the site. Pages are listed in alphabetical order by title, and are arranged into 12 sections, each containing one or more subsections (and often sub-subsections and so forth); these, too, are arranged in alphabetical order.

NB: The site map is now under development. As of this update, it is about 85-percent complete, and does not yet contain
a Table of Contents; a ToC will be added when the page is complete.

Another option: Click on any of the 12 tabs surrounding the banner at the top of the page. This will take you to the top page of a section (corresponding to one of our 12 subdomains) — each of which has a menu which contains buttons linking to pages that exist in our familiar world. Once there, you can navigate to any page in the section with one click, and without any risk of straying out of that world.

And that’s a desirable thing, because if you come back here, the eyes may already be on the move.
